Stress Awareness at Cornwall Health Library

Wednesday 6th November 2019 is National Stress Awareness Day.
To highlight the importance of stress awareness, self-care and mindfulness, the library will be hosting an Introduction to Mindfulness with Dr. Stephanie Jackson. All places are currently booked, but if you are interested in attending future sessions, contact us and we can get back to you if we are able to arrange more dates.
An Introduction to Mindfulness evening – Wednesday 27th November 17:30-19:30, Postgraduate Centre, Royal Cornwall Hospital
This sessions offers the opportunity to find out more about mindfulness and how it can help both personally and professionally. It will cover what mindfulness is, how it works, research evidence, and practice exercises to explore mindfulness.
This sessions is funded and places are limited.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course – starting January 2020
This mindfulness based stress reduction course will be starting in January 2020 at the Postgraduate Centre, Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Wednesday evenings 17:45-19:45.
January 8th, 15th & 22nd, February 5th, 12th & 26th, March 4th & 8th.
Day retreat: Saturday 22nd February.
Costing £180 including course manual, audio recordings, teaching sessions, and day retreat.
